Appointments

Belrose Medical Centre aims to make health care easily accessible, as such, we take appointments both online or by phone

02 8329 7830. We accept walk in patients throughout the day, however we cannot guarantee a wait time. We will stop taking walk in patients when we reach capacity. If it is later in the afternoon we recommend calling us first to ensure we can accommodate you.

 

Standard consultations last up to 20 minutes (Level B), however if you need more time with your doctor, please call reception in advance to request a long consultation.

Check-in and identification

All patients need to present and check in at the reception desk to confirm their details for their appointment. You will be required to present your Medicare Card and any pension/concession cards if applicable. Reception may ask to see another form of ID such as your driver's licence to verify your identity.

Worker's Compensation 
Patients seeing the doctor for an injury at work must provide their claim number when they present for a consultation. If they do not yet have a claim number accepted they will need to pay for the appointment on the day (once the claim is accepted the patient is usually reimbursed through the insurer for any appointment fees incurred).

Practice Fees

On weekdays we bulk bill for children 0-15 years old, as well as pension/concession card holders. For all other patients, the standard appointment fees are as follows for both face-to-face and telehealth:

Level B - $83 (Medicare Rebate $41.40)

Level C - $125 (Medicare Rebate $80.10)
Level D - $165 (Medicare Rebate $118)

Saturday Consultations
We do not bulk bill on Saturdays. All patients pay privately.

Our fees from 9am-1pm are as follows:

Level B - $83 (Medicare Rebate $41.40)

Level C - $125 (Medicare Rebate $80.10)
Level D - $165 (Medicare Rebate $118)

From 1pm-4pm after hours fees apply:

Level B - $98 (Medicare Rebate $53.90)

Level C - $140 (Medicare Rebate $92.45)
Level D - $185 (Medicare Rebate $129.65)

Out of pocket fees also apply for our treatment room including dressings, minor procedures, INR, ECG, and skin excisions.

Non-Attendance & Late Cancellation Fees

We require a minimum of 1 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us on 02 8329 7830.

If you do not attend or provide the required minimum of 1 hour's notice, a $50 fee is payable for non-attendance.
