Belrose Medical Centre has both Male & Female Doctors available. With the support and services of our friendly & caring Nurses, Staff & Receptionists, our team of doctors are committed to providing a high quality of care which is sensitive to the needs of our patients and the northern beaches community.  Our aim is not only to help when you are ill, but also to keep you healthy.

Dr. Yasmin Trinidad (MBBS, FRACGP)

 

Dr Yasmin Trinidad graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 and is a member of FRACGP. She has a special interest in women's and children's health as well as management of chronic disease and aged care.

 

Dr Yasmin holds a Diploma in Child Health completed at Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2008 and has completed extra training in Sexual and Reproductive health in 2008. She is also Mirena and IUD certified.

 

Dr Yasmin has most recently been practicing on the NSW North Coast and has now moved back to where she grew up on Sydney’s North Shore. 

 

Dr Yasmin is available Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday's.

Dr Bentolhoda Ghiassy (M.D, FRACGP)

Dr. Hoda is an experienced female GP who has been practicing in Cessnock for the last 5 years. She is a member of the FRACGP. Dr Hoda has additional qualifications, and a special interest in mental health and in skin cancer management.

Dr Hoda also has a special interest in the management of chronic disease and preventing chronic disease.

Dr Hoda welcomes all patients. 

Dr Hoda is available Monday to Friday.

Dr Peter is an experienced GP with an interest in all aspects of General Practice. 

Dr Purches weloomes all patients and has a wealth of knowledge in general medicine.

Dr Purches is available during the week. Please check on HotDoc or ring for his schedule.

Dr Ankur Paliwal (FRACGP)
Dr. Ankur Paliwal has over 15 years of medical experience and has worked in the field of Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics before moving into General Practice. He graduated from UK - Royal College of General Practitioners where he practiced for many years before moving to Australia.
Following that he became a fellow of the Royal Australian College Of General Practitioners.
He is interested in all areas of general practice especially Paediatrics , Men’s Health , Mental Health , Geriatric (Elderly) care and Sports Medicine.
 He likes to deliver good quality healthcare to all his patients addressing all ideas,concerns and expectations during his consultation.
 
Outside work he enjoys sports, travelling and music.

Dr Ankur is available Monday to Friday.

Dr. Pragya Malla (MBBS, FRACGP,DCH,MHP)

 

Dr Pragya Malla is a General Practitioner with 14 years of Australian clinical experience. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed her medical degree from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. She has a Master in Public Health from University of Wollongong and a Diploma of Child Health from University of Sydney. She has done the Doctor's Course in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW including Implanon insertion.
 
Pragya worked in Children’s Medicine at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, for six years, before pursuing General Practice. She has worked in the Emergency Department, Adult Medicine, Orthopaedics and Mental Health. She has worked with people with Developmental Disabilities and cared for people in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
 
Pragya is passionate about all aspects of primary healthcare and enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds to deliver personalised, collaborative and holistic care.

Dr Pragya is available Monday to Thursday.

Dr. Victor Shawpan (MBBS, FRACGP)

 

Dr Victor Shawpan graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and is a member of FRACGP. He was born and raised in Sydney before relocating to work and train in regional and rural NSW. He has now returned with his family to live and work on the North Shore/Northern Beaches.

Dr Vic has a special interest in performing minor surgical procedures such as toe nail removal and resection as well as Skin Cancer excisions and biopsies.

Dr Vic has also completed extra training in psychiatry and mental health.

Dr Vic is available Monday to  Friday.
