Women's Health
Women have both general population and specific health needs, as highlighted in the National Women's Health Strategy 2020-2030, the priority focus areas range from maternal, sexual and reproductive health to healthy ageing, mental health, preventative health and chronic conditions, as well as the health impacts of violence against women.

In global terms, Australian women experience strong health outcomes, however there is a need to reduce the burden of disease and improve quality of life. Women are 1.6x as likely as men to suffer coexisting mental and physical illness.
